In the Hawaiian language, hale means house or building and malu means shaded, peaceful, quiet, safe, protected. Our home in the Waiakea neighborhood of Hilo offers a retreat filled with peace and quiet.
On the second floor, we offer three bedrooms and two baths, with a wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), and a spacious fully-stocked kitchen with modern amenities. Enjoy the views of Mauna Kea and the Pacific Ocean while lounging on the fully-screened deck.
Your hosts live downstairs on the first floor, ready to help with any questions or concerns.
Aloha mai!
